Artist #3 - Dezmon Hodgdon

Dezmon lives in Middlebury VT and is a creative young artist that has a passion for animation, cartoon drawing, and always has fun creating is passion projects. Dezmon has had the idea for Coffee Man for years and had the idea from the Pepsi commercials Pepsi Man from the mid 1990’s. Coffee Man is a character that represents the best of all of us. A motivational character that helps you achieve all your goals and aspirations. Coffee man wants you to seize everyday, be kind, work hard, have fun, and be humble. “Revive, Energize, and Thrive.”

The Coffee - Nicaragua El Recreo is a direct trade coffee from a single farm that focuses on social and environmental sustainability. This is a medium roast coffee that works great as a drip coffee, pour-over, or cold brew. Notes include a unique harmony of vanilla bean, bittersweet chocolate, almonds, and cinnamon spice finish.

Social Responsibility: El Recreo invests in the welfare of the workers and their families. A School of Technical Training provides education to the workers, a School for Kids educates the worker’s children, and a Health Center provides health care, nutritional diet, and recreational activities.

Rainforest Alliance: El Recreo is certified by Rainforest Alliance and has placed in the top 10 in the Rainforest Alliance Cupping for Quality contest!

Giving back: Profits go back to the farm and workers as their promise to social responsibility. It benefits a continuous thriving community in the area such as adult and children’s education, standard of living, and health services.
